The Beginning
Reviving a Forgotten Wine Region
In 1998, we arrived in Boca with a vision: to revive a wine region that had been almost completely forgotten. The Boca DOC, once renowned for producing some of Italy's finest wines, had nearly disappeared from the wine world.
We believed in the historic potential of this terroir, where generations before us had cultivated exceptional vines. With dedication and respect for tradition, we set out to prove that Boca could once again produce wines worthy of international recognition.
Today, Le Piane wines are celebrated globally, ranking among Italy's finest. Our Boca DOC has achieved the 23rd place in the Best Italian Wine Award and consistently receives outstanding scores from the world's most prestigious wine guides.
